Week 1 Glossary

1. commemorate (v.) remember someone of something with a special action.

    The national ceremony  was held to commemorate people who died in War II.
2. constitutional (adj.) allowed by the constitution of a country or organization.
    All of the laws are sentenced under the constitutional process.
3. carp (n.) type of freshwater fish
    Many of people keep carp as the pet.
4.evaluate (v.) to think carefully about something before making a judgment about its value.

   The performance of athlete will be evaluated by audience and referee.
5. slang (n.) words or expressions that are very informal and are not considered suitable for more formal situations.
   The gangster attack people with slang.
